Acupuncture

Acupuncture, a core discipline within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is one of the oldest and best-known healing methods worldwide. In TCM, health is defined as a state of harmony between the body and its environment. This balance is maintained through the balance of Yin and Yang and the unobstructed flow of Blood and Qi (vital energy) throughout the body. External influences such as stress, poor nutrition, emotional strain, and metabolic disorders can disrupt this harmony.

Through acupuncture, blockages along the body’s meridians can be released, initiating repair processes and activating the body’s innate self-healing mechanisms.

Treatment Process

In a comprehensive initial consultation, I take a detailed medical history. This discussion includes questions from both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medicine perspectives. Please allow approximately 45 minutes for this appointment. If you have any previous medical records, kindly bring them with you.

During acupuncture treatment, fine needles are inserted on the body and/or ear, depending on the indication. They remain in place for about 20 minutes while you relax on a treatment couch. An acupuncture course typically consists of 6–10 sessions, depending on the condition being treated.
